Studio Atlas Oracle Deck

Studio Atlas Oracle Deck
An 18-card intuitive compass for artists, dreamers and decision-makers.
Navigate by intuition
The Studio Atlas Oracle Deck is a poetic and practical creative tool. It’s an 18-card decision-making oracle for artists, mystics, and imaginative worldbuilders. Each card invites you to slow down, tune in, and make choices in alignment with your creative compass.
Inspired by divination practices and dream logic, and guided by the pursuit of a gentle, sensuous and highly attuned creative life; the deck acts as both wayfinder and map for those building creative lives on their own terms.
About the Deck
Unlike traditional tarot or affirmation decks, the Studio Atlas Oracle is designed for creative direction-finding. Each card when pulled provides a visual prompt, or a somatic nudge, or a symbolic mirror, depending on how you choose to interpret it. Approaching the deck with an open-ended question often serves you best -- allow your intuition to guide you.
Each of the 18 cards captures a recurring motif in the creative process. The 6 Atlas cards guide your questioning, and the 12 Archetype cards guide your answers.
Design & Aesthetic
Each card features a hand-cut collage made by artist and writer Natalie Mather, using imagery drawn from architectural journals, vintage field guides, and personal photographs. The result is a deck that feels like a memory map of a dream city - one foot in the past, one in the imaginal.
Elegant titling layered over archival collages
Inspired by Agnes Martin, Leonora Carrington, Ettore Sottsass and Brutalist and Baroque architecture
Designed as both a creative tool and an art object
Printed on smooth matte card stock with rounded corners and gilded edges
Housed in a custom printed tuck box featuring one of my collage artworks
Each image is built from textures of architectural ruin and scenes from reverie. They invite multilayered interpretation, and are deliberately open, ready to be intuitively read.
Why I Made This
I'm an artist working at a dreamlike intersection of cartography and architecture. My drawings, collages, and paintings map invented geographies. As a mother and maker navigating multiple realms - studio, work, parenting, selfhood - I longed for a tool to guide creative decision-making that wasn’t merely practical. I didn’t want another productivity hack. I wanted something beautiful.
Something that reminded me: I already know.
The Studio Atlas Oracle Deck was born from that longing for ritual, reflection, and imaginative direction.
